Lamborghini is celebrating the 63rd anniversary of its founding in 1963. That means it's releasing some special models, with the most notable so far being the roadster version of its highly-limited edition Fenomeno. Only 15 people will be able to get one, so not many will get to pick one up to join in Lambo's celebration. There's some good news for potential Lamborghini buyers, though. If you're in North America, you'll be able to get a special version of the Revuelto designed just for this continent, or more specifically for the U.S. and Canada.Lamborghini Lamborghini Adds Stripes, But Skips The Stars This Revuelto edition is called the NA63 in honor of what Lamborghini said is its "most important market." It mostly boils down to special color schemes, though. The headline options are a choice of an extremely dark matte blue with red and white stripes, and a white paint scheme with red and blue stripes. While both involve all the colors of the American flag, Lamborghini points to the red and white stripes of the dark blue model being a tribute to Canada. We also couldn't help but notice the white livery looks shockingly like the color scheme on Herbie, the VW Beetle from Disney's The Love Bug. The "63" decals on the side are coincidentally close to Herbie's racing number "53," too.LamborghiniIf you'd like one of these special editions, but don't want to have such patriotic colors, Lamborghini has you covered. Two others are available that don't have clear associations. Both feature different grey hues, one with blue and white contrasting accents, and the other with black and orange. LamborghiniHowever, these color schemes are the full extent of what makes the NA63 unique. Lamborghini makes no mention of even special interior changes. The only other aspect separating these cars from regular models is the fact that only 63 will be built, making them quite exclusive. It's Still A Powerful V12 Lamborghini While the actual changes Lamborghini has made to the NA63 aren't particularly exciting, the core car still is. It has a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, along with a trio of electric motors. Two are in the front, and the other is hooked up to the engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to help power the rear wheels. The combined output is 1,001 horsepower, and it can get to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds on the way to a nearly 220-mph top speed. In fact, it's barely less powerful and barely slower than the far rarer Fenomeno, which makes 1,065 hp and gets to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds. Also, while Lamborghini hasn't given pricing for the Revuelto it will almost certainly be far more affordable than any Fenomeno, since that "few-off" special model had a reported base price of more than $3 million. The base price when the Revuelto launched was a bit over $600,000, so even a 50% increase just for the paint and limited production run would still make it comparatively affordable to the Fenomeno.
