Automobili Lamborghini has introduced a new limited-production model called the Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster. Production will be limited to 15 units, and each one uses a V12 hybrid powertrain producing a combined 1,080 CV (~1,065 hp), making it the most powerful open-top Lamborghini the company has built so far.The Fenomeno Roadster was revealed during the second edition of the Lamborghini Arena event. It follows earlier low-volume Lamborghini models such as the Reventón Roadster and is based on the Fenomeno Coupé introduced in 2025. The two-seat roadster combines a naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors and features a new aerodynamic package developed specifically for the open-top design. The name "Fenomeno" continues Lamborghini's tradition of naming vehicles after famous bulls. In Italian and Spanish, the word translates to "phenomenal."Power comes from a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors. Together, the system produces 1,080 CV (~1,065 hp). Lamborghini says the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, and exceed 340 km/h. The hybrid system also includes a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery that allows for limited fully electric driving. The chassis uses a carbon-fiber monofuselage structure derived from the Revuelto. Lamborghini says the setup helps maintain rigidity while minimizing added weight compared to the coupe version. The car also uses manually adjustable racing shock absorbers and carbon-ceramic brakes developed with motorsport-inspired technology.AdvertisementAdvertisementBridgestone developed custom Potenza tires for the Fenomeno Roadster. The standard setup includes ultra-high-performance road tires, while an optional semi-slick tire package is available for track driving.Aerodynamic updates were made to compensate for the missing roof. Lamborghini redesigned several upper-body surfaces and added a windshield-mounted spoiler to direct airflow over the cockpit and into the engine bay for cooling. The company also revised the rollover protection structures to reduce wind noise and turbulence at higher speeds. The exterior design includes sharp body lines, large air intakes, a flat windshield, and styling cues inspired by earlier Lamborghini race cars and concept vehicles. The rear design references the Essenza SCV12 and 1970s racing prototypes, while the high-mounted hexagonal exhaust remains a focal point.Inside, the cockpit uses carbon fiber, Dinamica Corsatex material, and Lamborghini's Carbon Skin trim. The layout includes three digital displays, aviation-inspired controls, and hexagonal design elements carried over from the exterior.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe launch vehicle shown by Lamborghini features Blu Cepheus paint with Rosso Mars accents. According to the company, the color combination references both the 1968 Miura Roadster and the colors of Bologna. The Fenomeno Roadster joins Lamborghini's line of limited-production "Few-Off" vehicles, following models such as the Reventón, Veneno, Centenario, and Sián.Become an AutoGuide insider.
