Did Ram Just Tease a New TRX-Based Street Truck?Ram (Ram)Ram just released a short teaser video that appears to show a lowered SRT TRX truck doing burnouts and donuts. The clip posted on Instagram features Rambassador and UFC President Dana White and ends with the tagline, "Things are about to get loud."While Ram didn't share any other details, we think the brash brand is about to reveal a new high-powered street truck."Things are about to get loud." That's according to a surprise teaser video that Ram just released on its social media. However, we'd argue its new Hellcat-powered, SRT-badged TRX supertruck has already set the loudness bar pretty high. But what if Ram lowered the TRX's ride height, swapped its long-travel suspension for a racetrack-ready setup, and replaced its knobby off-road tires with a set of street-focused rubber? Well, that'd be pretty badass, and we think it might become a reality after watching the short clip below. In the video, which features "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'n' Roses, Rambassador and UFC President Dana White is seen walking down a tunnel, partially obscuring what looks like a Ram truck with an unfamiliar body kit and an abnormally low ride height. Flash forward to a six-lug wheel hub with Ram's bighorn logo furiously spinning as a cloud of smoke forms. That shot is followed by a shrouded truck doing donuts, and based on some of the details, it looks like a TRX with a widebody kit, a low-profile sport bar, and a rear-mounted spoiler a la the Viper-powered Dodge Ram SRT-10. Then the aforementioned "Things are about to get loud" tagline flashes across the screen as the truck roasts what are clearly rear street-performance tires before the scene closes with a grinning White in the driver's seat.AdvertisementAdvertisementIs Ram cooking up a TRX-based street truck? Judging by the look of things, hell yeah it is. Of course, what remains a mystery is when the brash brand will reveal its latest creation. It recently relaunched the Street and Racing Technology performance division with the new 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX. It features a new 777-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, and we don't think it's a coincidence that the last pickup truck to wear the SRT badge was the SRT-10.➡️ Skip the lot.
