The challenge, which took place over five consecutive days, saw the sedan traverse four provinces in China – Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Guangdong – covering a variety of demanding terrains, including mountainous tunnels, heavy traffic, and continuous inclines. By completing this journey without any energy replenishment, the A7 EM surpassed the previous record of 2,369.950 km held by the Chery Fulwin A8L. Powertrain The Galaxy A7 EM is powered by the Thor AI-powered EM Hybrid 2.0 system, which features a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine boasting a thermal efficiency exceeding 47.26%.
