This screen consolidates essential data like driving information, vehicle status, and time. The steering wheel sports a rugged design with scroll wheels on either side for easier control. Notably, the vehicle retains a row of physical buttons below the central touchscreen, opting not to rely entirely on touch controls.Wen Fei, global CEO of FREELANDER, previously revealed that the FREELANDER 8 will debut a cinema-grade camera-movement HMI, along with the world's largest surround-view gallery. Drawing on the "Shenxing Continent" design philosophy, the cabin aims to create an immersive, nature-inspired interaction experience — setting a new visual standard for next-generation infotainment systems. The model will be offered in five production colors.On the brand front, FREELANDER will make its global debut in Shanghai on March 31, 2026, unveiling its first concept car, the Concept 97. Jointly developed by Chery and Jaguar Land Rover, the brand is positioned as a luxury new-energy technology player targeting the global market.The brand plans to roll out six models within five years. The first mass-production vehicle is slated to hit the Chinese market in the second half of 2026, with overseas expansion following later. Regarding retail, FREELANDER aims to establish 100 stores across 60 cities in China by the end of 2026.
