The Fiats will be offered with an internal combustion engine, as mild hybrids, and as battery electric vehicles. We expect the Chryslers to be offered with a gas engine for the base model, as well as a mild hybrid. The Grizzlys will use a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder, which could work for the lower-cost base trim but might not have enough grunt for American consumers. That engine comes paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Stellantis also has a new 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 Turbo, which also supports hybridization, giving the company a turbo-four intended for broad use in future compact and midsize vehicles across its product portfolio. This could be the engine for higher-output models, and a pure EV could be a later addition as the automaker monitors North America's appetite for electrics.Fiat will produce its models at Stellantis' Morocco plant, with their launch occurring later this year for sale in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
