The exterior largely retains the current model’s design. The extended-range version continues to use a dedicated front intake design, while the EV variant keeps its customizable LED lighting system. A revised rear bumper, active rear spoiler, larger airflow channels along the doors, and available six-piston fixed brake callipers further distinguish the updated vehicle. The most significant change is the introduction of the Falcon 700 driver-assistance system. Exeed says the system is derived from Robotaxi development algorithms and operates through a sensor suite comprising 27 sensors, including 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, three millimetre-wave radars, and a roof-mounted LiDAR unit. The hardware configuration aims to improve perception accuracy across urban, highway, and parking scenarios. LiDAR provides additional environmental data in low-visibility conditions and complex traffic environments where camera-only systems can face limitations. Snapdragon 8295P powers new AI cockpit Inside, the Exlantix ES maintains its minimalist cabin layout, featuring a digital instrument cluster and a floating central touchscreen. The cabin now uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P chipset together with the Carmind AI large model that powers the new AI Lingxi cockpit. The upgraded computing platform is intended to improve voice interaction, system response speed, and intelligent scenario adaptation. Several usability changes have also been introduced. Physical shortcut buttons have been added to the centre console, manually adjustable air vents replace some previous touch-based controls, and several decorative trim elements have been redesigned. Powertrains expected to continue unchanged Exeed has not announced detailed powertrain changes, and specifications are expected to remain largely consistent with the current model lineup. The EREV version uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged range extender paired with either a 195 kW rear-wheel-drive setup or a 345 kW dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Both versions offer 255 km of electric range under CLTC, while the current AWD model delivers up to 1,645 km of combined CLTC range. For EV buyers, the Exlantix ES continues to offer multiple configurations ranging from 185 kW to 353 kW, with CLTC ranges extending up to 880 km depending on battery and drivetrain configuration. The current 2026-spec EV variant submitted to regulators features a 97.7 kWh battery pack and offers a range of up to 860 km. The performance-oriented Snow Leopard AWD 2.0 system combines intelligent front-rear torque distribution with a double-wishbone front suspension and five-link rear suspension. Exeed claims 4.9-second acceleration from 0–100 km/h and a braking distance of 34.8 m from 100 km/h. Sales remain low despite technology upgrades The Exlantix ES remains one of Exeed’s lowest-volume models in China. Domestic sales reached 31 units in April 2026, down from 147 units in March. The sedan recorded its strongest recent performance in June 2025, with 2,228 deliveries, according to China EV DataTracker. The updated 2026 model arrives as Chery continues expanding the Exlantix lineup in both domestic and overseas markets. Pricing and additional specifications are expected to be announced when pre-sales begin on June 10. Updated Exlantix ES retains its full-width rear lighting design.
