The Audi S5, thanks to its practical liftback rear end, is the easiest to load and has the most cargo area by some margin. And this is really what differentiates these cars, your needs.The newly released Audi S5 remains the smooth and safe middle ground option, offering a comfortable ride, plenty of performance, and the kind of sure-footed handling that you can rely on even in the worst road conditions. It delivers a very measured and controlled driving experience but doesn't offer the kind of driving thrills the other two can when pushed. But it is the most high-tech inside, has the best ride and is the most practical, too. It's arguably the most accomplished daily driver sports sedan here.The C43 has less of the typical Mercedes-AMG DNA than we would like. It still delivers a big performance punch, but the uncooperative transmission and harsh ride can make it tough to appreciate its other virtues, like the stunning and luxurious interior, the superb grip levels and the responsive chassis. It might be worth waiting for the upcoming six-cylinder C53 variant, which may also get an improved transmission.That leaves us with the old-timer of the bunch, the M340i. It has undergone several updates since its launch back in 2019, and it is still the quickest (in xDrive trim) and most efficient of all three rivals here.
