Max Verstappen’s 760-HP Audi RS6 Avant Is Just One Clue He’s The Biggest PetrolheadMotorBiscuitSaajan JogiaFri, September 18, 2026 at 10:35 PM UTCAdd us on GoogleRed Bull Racing F1 driver Max Verstappen was recently spotted in Monaco driving his ABT-tuned Audi RS6 Avant, a family estate with enough performance to put many supercars under pressure. The Legacy Edition treatment takes the already potent wagon to another level, with ABT extracting around 760 hp from its twin-turbo V8.Monaco's paparazzi are always on the lookout for F1 drivers and their rare automotive treasures, from Fernando Alonso's chrome-like Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse to George Russell's quirky Fiat 500 Jolly. Verstappen, however, has taken a far more understated approach, hiding more than 750 hp beneath the unassuming body of an estate car.Going straight to the heart of the matter, ABT turns the RS6 Avant into a considerably more potent machine with its Legacy Edition package. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 receives upgraded turbochargers, an intercooler and revised engine management, helping raise output to approximately 760 hp. Depending on the underlying RS6 specification, torque is rated at up to 980 Nm, or roughly 723 lb-ft.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Legacy Edition also gets a comprehensive visual makeover. Gloss-black 22-inch forged wheels give the estate a darker appearance, while the extensive carbon-fiber bodywork includes a redesigned front section, side skirts, rear additions and a roof-mounted rear wing. These changes make the car noticeably more aggressive without abandoning the practical shape of the RS6 Avant.Image Credit: ABTThe rear end completes the transformation with ABT's stainless-steel exhaust system, which terminates in four large exhaust outlets, along with a more pronounced diffuser and additional carbon-fiber elements. Limited to 200 examples, the Legacy Edition combines the everyday practicality of an estate with the kind of power that makes Verstappen's choice far more interesting than an ordinary family wagon.Max Verstappen's Car CollectionGPblog listed several cars last year that are believed to be part of the four-time F1 champion's garage.
