It may be a while before we see a successor, but chances are, there might be no next generation. Coupe crossovers have become a thing, while four-door coupe sales have practically evaporated.A Proper Send-OffFor now, Audi isn't making final edition models of the RS7 just yet, but we all know that announcement will come some day. In the meantime, it's ABT Sportsline that's kicking off the high-performance four-door coupe's retirement party.AdvertisementAdvertisementMeet the RS7 Legacy Edition – 1 of 1 GRIZZLY. It's the longtime Audi tuner's way of saying thank you to the RS7, and has done so in a pretty special way. As the name suggests, it's (sadly) a one-off, but for those with an RS7 sitting in their garage, you can always ask the folks from ABT to build a fast(er) one for you.ABT SportslinePacking HeatThe standard RS7 makes 621 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It's strong enough for 0 to 60 mph times well below 3.5 seconds, and can go under 3 seconds if the conditions are just right. This being ABT, its tuned RS7 can go faster than that.ABT added another 128 hp and 98 lb-ft to the V8's already impressive output. The result is 749 hp and 723 lb-ft. Granted, there are supercars that make more, but it's a heady figure, nonetheless. There are no official 0 to 60 times, but you can bet on high-two seconds for it. For now, ABT isn't saying how it achieved the extra grunt, but it's likely with a fettled ECU, more aggressive internals, and more.Bespoke DetailsThis RS7 isn't festooned with a wild body kit or any other extroverted details that make it scream one-off. Instead, ABT took a more subtle approach for it. There are subtle changes to the bumper, along with just the right amount of carbon detailing on the body and gold wheels. Draped in Slate Grey with Shadow Blue accents rather than a loud shade, it blends into the background, and it's a type of car that makes one say, 'if you know, you know.'AdvertisementAdvertisementInside, there's even more carbon trimmings, and the rest of the cabin gets unique ABT touches. Reminding the eventual owner is an embossed ABT logo on the headliner, as well as a starlight headliner and lashings of Alcantara to complement the leather. Like the exterior, subtlety is the theme of the cabin.ABT SportslineNo Other Like ItAs mentioned, it's a 1 of 1 model, and the price tag is a bit of a mystery. Chances are, this particular car has been spoken for already. If not, it'll likely be ABT's shop showcase for a little while. Either way, the tuning firm has made an already desirable car even more desirable, and its uniqueness means someone is bound to ask ABT if they can buy it.The RS7 itself can be called one of the greats. Admittedly, the RS6 has a greater 'gotta have it' factor on the basis that it's a wagon, but the four-door has its merits, too.
