With the second-generation BMW M2 having received an update in June 2024 and arriving in Malaysia almost exactly 12 months after that, the updated G87 can now be optioned with a host of M Performance parts, should an owner deem the two-door coupé to be in need of more visual aggression. The ensemble focuses on the exterior of the G87, where the package brings a serving of components in carbon-fibre. Depicted in the brochure, but not specified on the Malaysian-market car here is the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged aluminium wheel set; the car photographed here retains the regular M2’s wheel set that measures 19 inches and 20 inches front and rear, respectively, shod in tyres measuring 275/35R19 and 285/30R20. The G87 M2 for Malaysia gets the M Carbon roof as standard equipment, with more carbon-fibre trim to be found in the cabin.
