Gasgoo Munich- Seres Automobile Co., Ltd. has undergone a management reshuffle, with Zhang Xinghai stepping down as chairman and Zhang Zhengping taking over, according to data from corporate registry Qichacha. Several other key executives have also seen changes.Founded in September 2012, Seres Automobile has a registered capital of roughly 10.64 billion yuan. Its business scope spans internet information services and Class I and II value-added telecommunications services. Zhang Zhengping had already addressed the Future Mobility Pioneers Conference on May 29 in his capacity as chairman, outlining the AITO brand's philosophy, achievements, and strategic roadmap.Zhang said AITO adheres to a philosophy of "redefining luxury with intelligence." Since partnering with Huawei in 2021, the brand has gained broad market recognition over the past five years. It delivered its 1 millionth vehicle in just 46 months. This year, AITO ranked in the global top 100 for automotive brand value, becoming the only Chinese marque to rank in the top ten luxury brands worldwide.The AITO M9 has been the best-selling model in China's 500,000 yuan-plus segment for two consecutive years. It also stands as the only new energy vehicle selected for the "China Manufacturing Speed Achievement Exhibition."On high-end standards, AITO prioritizes reliability. Its super factory boasts 100% automation in bodywork and employs a "one car, one file" system for full production traceability. Since the start of this year, vehicles rolling off the AITO production line have undergone automated, unmanned testing, resulting in the lowest risk rating on industry quality lists for energy-saving and new energy vehicles.Later, on June 8, Seres told investors on an interactive platform that cumulative new energy vehicle sales from January to May reached 145,108 units — a 15.14% year-on-year increase. The AITO series has received strong market response since its debut. Moving forward, the company said it will stay focused on its core business, driving product R&D, technological innovation, and service improvements to bolster competitiveness, brand influence, and long-term value creation.
