Output remains 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can still choose between a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic. Toyota says the manual-equipped car reaches 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, while the automatic takes 6.6 seconds.While the headline numbers haven't changed, Toyota has revised the throttle calibration for a smoother and more linear response, and it has slightly widened the chamfer on the shifter interlock between fourth and fifth gear by about 0.02 inches. The change should help improve quick downshifts. The Performance Package returns for 2027 and still includes Brembo brakes and SACHS dampers.The 2027 Toyota GR86 will arrive at dealers this summer in base and Premium trims.
