And sure enough, the window sticker for the convertible shows that it comes with several premium add-ons. These include the ZL3 trim package (which adds around $11,000 to the final cost), along with 10-spoke carbon-fiber wheels ($15,995), a carbon-fiber aero kit ($12,995), and a carbon-fiber interior package ($5,995). The car features $47,705 worth of options, pushing its total price, including destination fees, to $296,100.2027 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1XIt took mere hours for bidding for this glossy black ZR1X to top this price. By Sunday, it had reached its current level, but it would not be a surprise to see it climb further in the auction's final hours, as anyone who regularly checks in on BaT has seen happen plenty of times before. But even if it doesn't, the seller, a California-based dealer, is guaranteed to make a tidy profit. But bidding shows that there are plenty of people out there willing to pay extra for the top-of-the-line 'Vette. It's easy to see why. The most potent C8 comes with a hybrid powertrain that pairs a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 with a front-mounted e-motor. The duo combine to pump out an outrageous 1,250 hp and 973 ft lbs of torque. Thanks to all that grunt, the car can rocket from zero to 60 mph in just 1.68 seconds and hit a top speed of 233 mph. Its output and performance numbers compared favorably to the Lamborghini Revuelto, but at just a fraction of the price. The range-topping Raging Bull starts at $605,000.Inside the Corvette ZR1XOne added element that may be driving up the price of this particular ZR1X is that it's a truly brand-new example, according to Carscoops. The black convertible has just five miles on the odometer and has never been registered. Because of this, the winning bidder will have access to the full factory warranty, whereas other ZR1X examples sold during the first year of ownership do not.Click here for more photos of the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X.Best of Robb ReportThe 2024 Chevy C8 Corvette: Everything We Know About the Powerful Mid-Engine BeastThe World's Best Superyacht ShipyardsThe ABCs of Chartering a YachtSign up for RobbReports's Newsletter.
