Toyota is reportedly working on a wave of updates for its Crown family in Japan, bringing subtle trim changes and some tweaks under the skin. Those are expected to be implemented in the Crown Crossover, Sport, and Sedan models, with a rumored market launch on September 3. Starting with the oldest of the bunch, the Crown Crossover has been on sale since mid-2022 when it kick-started a new era for the series. As reported by Japanese media Creative Trend, the fastback crossover will benefit from a new bi-tone layout to freshen up the exterior. Furthermore, the unpainted plastic bits will gain a gloss black finish and the RS trim will be fitted with red brake calipers.
