We've known for a little while now that Lamborghini has been working on a high-performance version of its Revuelto supercar, probably called Revuelto SV. Lamborghini's test cars haven't exactly been subtle, either, having "Attention, Fast Machine" plastered in Italian along the sides. However, not much concrete information has leaked out of the company, so aside from the looks, much of it has been a mystery. That may have changed if the information posted by Instagram account "revueltosv" is to be believed. We may even see the car revealed sooner than expected. Not As Raging Of A Bull As Expected The latest post from this Instagram account claims to share information from a client meeting to preview the Revuelto SV, and that information includes a number of key points. First, the car will be shown during Monterey Car Week. Second, 1,963 examples will be built. Finally, it will make 1,065 horsepower. We again want to emphasize that this should all be taken with a grain of salt, as this account has few posts and hasn't been around long. Plus, there's not really any good way to verify anything about the person running it or the information.CarBuzz/Valnet With that said, all of this seems quite reasonable. The events that make up Monterey Car Week, including The Quail, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and Monterey Motorsports Reunion, have become the prime location for supercar and luxury automakers to reveal new products and concepts. We don't know of any other Lamborghinis slated for that slot, either, as the automaker already showed the Fenomeno Roadster during the anniversary celebration last month.CarBuzz/Valnet This is certainly a good year for yet another big Lamborghini reveal. This is the 63rd anniversary of Lamborghini's founding in 1963, and the company has made it clear it's into this whole alignment of numbers. Furthermore, it would support the idea of having just 1,963 examples of this Revuelto SV.As for the horsepower number, it's not as high as we initially thought. We had heard rumors of more than 1,200 horsepower to challenge rivals such as the Corvette ZR1. If it makes 1,065 horsepower, that's far off the early estimates, but is still believable. That's the same amount of power as you get in the Fenomeno. It would be easy for Lamborghini to just use the same basic V12 hybrid as that model for its limited-run high-performance Revuelto. What We Know About The Car The rest of what we know about the Revuelto SV comes from spy photos. They reveal a number of significant styling and aerodynamic changes. It has a far deeper front spoiler, and a huge rear wing. Other vents and intakes pop up around the body. We can also assume other changes will include weight reduction and more aggressive suspension tuning. It's also quite likely that the aerodynamic changes that will give the car more downforce and faster track times will also result in the SV having a slightly lower top speed than the base Reveulto, or at least the similarly powerful Fenomeno.
