The Lexus LBX Morizo RR receives its first model year updates. It gains new colors, a driver monitoring camera, and 17 speakers. The crossover is priced from 6.8 million yen ($43,100) in Japan. Lexus has announced mild updates for the LBX Morizo RR in Japan, two years after its debut. The performance-focused subcompact crossover developed with input from Akio Toyoda retains its Gazoo Racing credentials but gains new colors and improved equipment. The most visible change for the 2026 model year is the addition of the Neutrino Gray exterior shade, also used in the discontinued IS500 Climax Edition. In the LBX, the new color joins the existing White Nova, Heat Blue, Red Spinel, and Sonic Chrome shades, always combined with a contrasting black roof. The Bespoke Build trim stands out thanks to the contrasting yellow accent on the grille and the matching brake calipers in certain shades, mirroring the spec of the Original Edition from 2024. Inside, Lexus has introduced the Ochre upholstery option for a more premium feel compared to the Black, Solis White, and Dark Rose themes. The Bespoke Build gets black inserts on the seats and the yellow seatbelts. Standard equipment has been bolstered with cold weather specification, a built-in dashcam, and fabric upholstery for the A-pillars and sun visors. Audiophiles now have the option of a Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound system with no less than 17 speakers. On the safety front, the Lexus Safety System+ is now equipped with a driver monitor camera on the steering column, alongside expanded ADAS features including Proactive Driving Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross Traffic Alert. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. Of course, the Morizzo RR retains its unique chassis setup with a lowered suspension and wider tracks compared to the standard LBX lineup. The slightly updated LBX Morizo RR is available to order in Japan with a price tag of ¥6,800,000 ($43,100), representing an increase of ¥300,000 ($1,900) over its predecessor. The range-topping Bespoke Build edition is priced at ¥7,560,000 ($47,900), which is ¥360,000 ($2,300) more expensive than before and ¥260,000 ($1,600) pricier than the 100 units of the Original Edition from 2024.
