The new all-electric C-Class is “the sportiest C-Class ever,” according to Mercedes-Benz. With its debut just days away, Mercedes offered a first look at the interior, and it’s loaded with massive screens. Mercedes C-Class EV interior has more space and tech The C-Class has been one of Mercedes’ top-selling model series for decades, and soon it will be available with an all-electric powertrain. We will get our first look at the new C-Class EV on Monday, April 20, during its world premiere in South Korea. Ahead of its debut, Mercedes released the first official images of the interior, claiming it will set a new benchmark in its segment. Like the new electric GLC, the cabin is essentially all digital screens. At the center of it all is the new MBUX HYPERSCREEN, a 39.1″ floating touchscreen that spans the entire dashboard. However, the screen extends in front of the driver, displaying the speed and driving range. The new standard “Softtorino” leather provides a “first-class feel,” while electro-pneumatic 4-way lumbar support offers ergonomic support, making longer trips that much more comfortable. The seats also include massage functions across the entire backrest, heating, and ventilation. Higher-priced trims gain a premium Burmester 4D Surround Sound System with speakers integrated into the seats. Other optional features include ambient lighting that extends from the instrument panel and center console to all doors, as well as a SKY CONTROL panoramic roof. The new system also dehumidifies and cools the interior to maintain an optimal cabin temp so you don’t get those dry eyes from too much heat. “With the all-new electric C‑Class, we’ve raised everything customers love about this model to the next level,” Mercedes CEO Ola Källenius said, adding, “The result is a new benchmark for quality, craftsmanship, and comfort. It is the most spacious and most intelligent C-Class ever.” We will learn more on Monday, April 20, when Mercedes unveils the C-Class EV. The world premiere will be held during an event in South Korea, starting at 12:30 pm CEST. Check back for all the details.
