MAEXTRO S800 December sales topped combined Porsche Panamera, BMW 7 Series, Maybach S-Class total. The monthly sales figures for ultra-luxury sedans in December 2025 have been released. Overall, a clear divergence has emerged between new and traditional players in China’s ultra-luxury sedan segment (models priced above 700,000 yuan). Data shows that the MAEXTRO S800, a sedan under the brand jointly created by Huawei and Jianghuai Automobile (JAC), topped the sales chart in December with 4,376 units sold (including 234 pure-electric versions). This figure is approximately 4 times the sales of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class during the same period and also exceeds the combined sales of the Porsche Panamera, BMW 7 Series, and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. A brief look at the “December Sales of Ultra-Luxury Sedans (700,000 yuan+)” ranking shows the top three are: MAEXTRO S800 (4,376 units), Porsche Panamera (1,593 units), and BMW 7 Series (1,429 units). Further down the list, another new energy vehicle model, the NIO ET9, secured the 8th position with 185 units sold for the month. December 2025 Sales of Ultra-Luxury Sedans (Above 700,000 yuan) This sales dominance is no coincidence. The MAEXTRO S800 has demonstrated remarkable market enthusiasm since its launch on May 30, 2025. Looking at the monthly trend, MAEXTRO S800 sales climbed steadily from just over 1,000 units in August, to nearly 1,900 in September, 1,970 in October, and 2,205 in November, culminating in an explosive surge to over 4,000 units in December. Order intake has been equally strong. Official data indicates that within 175 days of launch, firm orders for the MAEXTRO S800 exceeded 18,000 units. By December 23, 2025, its cumulative deliveries had surpassed 10,000 units. For context, in November 2025, the monthly sales of competing models in the same segment—the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8L (collectively known in the industry as “78S”)—had all already fallen below 1,000 units each. According to the brand’s plan, for 2026, in addition to the full-year delivery target for the MAEXTRO S800, the brand will introduce new models including a standard-wheelbase MPV (with a focus on family use), a long-wheelbase MPV (positioned as a commercial flagship), and a long-wheelbase version of the S800. Reports suggest the positioning of its MPV models will be below the S800, potentially becoming another key sales pillar for the brand in 2026.
