Over 40 Lamborghini Miuras to Gather at PebbleLamborghiniThere's going to be a very special display of Lamborghini Miuras at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The automaker announced on Monday that the record for the most Miuras gathered in one place is planned to be broken, as "over 40" of them are expected to fan out down Pebble Beach's 3rd fairway.Unlike many of the events at Monterey Car Week, this display will be open to the public, too, so anyone will be allowed to take a stroll and check them out. The third fairway is only a short walk from the main event on the 18th hole, so you'll be able to see it easily, should you already be attending the Concours.LamborghiniWhy now? 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of the Miura's birth, and Lamborghini Club USA decided it would be a fitting tribute to the famous supercar that paved the way for the brand's success over the decades.AdvertisementAdvertisement"It wasn't simply a beautiful car or an engineering milestone, it changed how the world imagined performance, design, and desire," said Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman. "Bringing together the largest collection of Miuras ever assembled, on one of the most celebrated stages in the automotive world, is an extraordinary tribute to the visionaries who created it and to the owners whose passion has preserved its legacy for nearly six decades."LamborghiniThere were 763 Miuras built between 1966 and 1973, so if 40 of them are in one place, that amounts to more than 5 percent of all Miuras in the world. The U.S. is currently home to the most Miuras compared to any other country, too, so it's fitting to see the record broken here. We can't think of a better place to do it than during Monterey Car Week where it's hard to find a street on the peninsula that doesn't have a Lamborghini parked on it. Lamborghini didn't specify the models or colors it expects to see gathered, but examples from each year are sure to be in attendance. This tribute to the Miura now also plays into rumors and reports of Lamborghini building a Miura tribute model. Said limited-edition model could be revealed during Monterey Car Week, most likely during The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering on Friday, August 14th.You Might Also LikeIf You Can Only Own One Car, Make It One of TheseThese Are the Most Popular Cars by State
