New Lamborghini Revuelto SV Teases Big AeroLamborghiniIt seems Lamborghini is quite excited about its latest model, because Sant'Agata Bolognese blew the lid early on its big 2026 Monterey Car Week debut by announcing on Thursday that it's staking a claim to the production car lap record at Germany's Hockenheimring with the new, now-officially-confirmed Revuelto SV.The latest Lambo Super Veloce is seen here in camouflage, but it will have its disguise ripped away on August 14 at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering. Its Hockenheimring lap time of 1:41.6 was set by driver Marco Mapelli.However while Lambo claims it has taken the production car record, the Mercedes-AMG One would like a word about that. Maro Engel set a time of 1:38.6 in the AMG at that track— and while the One is extremely low volume production, it is, technically, a production car that posted a significantly better time than the Revuelto SV. If we delve into the race car side of things, the GT3 car record at the Hockenheimring is even faster: a 1:37.3 from a Ferrari 296 GT3.LamborghiniStill, a 1:41 is nothing to be ashamed of. "Every element of the car has been developed with the goal of taking performance to an even higher level, enhancing the driving engagement and emotion that have always defined our brand," CEO Stephan Winkelmann said.AdvertisementAdvertisementIf you were hoping to learn anything about the car itself, that will have to wait until its reveal at The Quail. Lamborghini didn't even tease any specs or notable changes from the normal Revuelto. That said, test driver Mapelli did divulge that this SV "has reached a level of performance we had never experienced before at Lamborghini."LamborghiniThe photos do reveal a much more aggressive aero setup than the standard Revuelto offers, showing off a unique front bumper, side sills, and wing. We can even spy some additional flaps protruding from the rear and one hell of a diffuser.
