Lamborghini has upgraded its Revuelto to the Super Veloce or 'SV' level through various upgrades, and now it produces more power and 80% more downforce for improved performance. Calling it the "most powerful and fastest production Lamborghini ever built in Sant'Agata Bolognese," the Revuelto SV made headlines after being unveiled at the Monterey Car Week.Speaking of the exterior first, because Lambos have a reputation for being the best bedroom wall posters, the Revuelto SV mostly features visual changes for enhanced aerodynamic function, such as the addition of a front splitter, a rear wing, and a rear Gurney flap. What else do you get with an SV Lambo? Fire-spitting exhausts! The Revuelto SV gets a new sports exhaust system with a matte grey finish. The hypercar also features new cooling channels to cool those 16.5-inch front and 16.1-inch rear carbon-ceramic brake discs. A racing-inspired ventilation system and an "innovative 3D carbon structure" improve peak deceleration by 11%, while heat dissipation has improved by 23% over the standard Revuelto.AdvertisementAdvertisementNot only that, the Revuelto SV is equipped with a new Integrated Brake Control System that continuously monitors motion in real time to deliver sharper, more precise braking while preventing wheel lockup. Speaking of the wheels, the Revuelto SV gets DROMOS 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear, with super-sticky Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.Image Credit: LamborghiniA mid-mounted naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine and two axial flux motors at the front power all four wheels via an advanced all-wheel-drive system and a quick eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. In addition, a new 7.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack helps deliver the additional power available on the Revuelto SV compared to the standard Revuelto.Speaking of performance figures, the Revuelto SV boasts a combined power output of 1,050 hp (1,065 PS), which is 49 hp more than the standard Revuelto, and 1,425 Nm of torque. The hypercar goes from 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds, while 124 mph arrives in just 6.7 seconds. Lamborghini claims the hypercar will reach speeds of over 214 mph (345 km/h) when driven flat out.AdvertisementAdvertisementNot just in a straight line, though; Lamborghini has ensured the Revuelto SV ticks all the boxes in the handling department through a revised suspension with manually adjustable dampers straight from GT3 racing. The result was enhanced agility by 17% and improved lateral grip by 10% when compared to the standard Revuelto. Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli drove the Revuelto SV around Germany's Hockenheimring circuit, setting a blisteringly fast lap time of 1:41.6, making it the fastest production car ever recorded on the circuit.Similar to the car's exterior, the Revuelto's interior features functional changes- a revised steering wheel with a red Pilota mode selector that lets the driver choose a driving setup based on their driving preferences, such as choosing a setting from a five-stage traction control system that is derived from a GT3 racing Lambo. As one would expect, the door panels are made of carbon fiber, while the carbon fiber racing seats will be an optional extra, but the hypercar will be customizable in many different ways. The Revuelto SV will be limited to just 1,963 units.
