The 2025-and-newer Hyundai Ioniq 5 comes with bigger batteries that charge faster and provide more range—and we’ve tested the real-world results.The EV SUV’s standard pack grew from 58 to 63 kWh, while the larger one went from 77 to 84 kWh. In our testing, the new long-range pack added 50 miles of range, enabled a higher peak charge rate, and reduced overall charging times versus the older version.
