Image: Kyle Patrick Image: Kyle Patrick Hyundai is recalling just under 3,000 versions of the 2025 Elantra N, 2026 Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, Tucson Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV), and Elantra vehicles. The recall focuses on the B-pillar impact sensors, which may have been misassembled, thus delaying air bag deployment. To remedy the problem, Hyundai dealers will inspect and replace the impact sensor(s), as necessary, free of charge. Letters to inform owners of affected vehicles should be sent out by June 19, 2026.
