(NewsNation) — Ford Motor Company is recalling over 110,000 vehicles due to issues that could increase the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.Two separate issues resulted in the recall of a total of 110,626 vehicles, affecting the 2021-2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E, 2025-2026 Ford Mustang GTD and 2024-2026 Ford Mustang models. At cold temperatures, the windshield wipers and washing systems of these models may malfunction. An additional letter is expected to be sent in March 2027 when a remedy to the recall is available.The 2021-2023 Ford Mustang Mach E vehicles were recalled because the rear differential pinion shaft may fracture. This could lead to the unintended movement or loss of drive power, or the vehicle may move while in park if the parking brake isn't applied.
