Restaurant Craft After 25 YearsMade at Ford's assembly plant in Michigan, the new off-roader is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Ecoboost V-6 as its Bronco Raptor sibling. The Bronco Filson may not churn out the same 418 hp, though, Car and Driver reported, though you can expect it to sit at a high-300 horses. And it's also tuned for every-day performance, meaning it won't be quite as loud as the Raptor, either, while also going from zero to 60 mph a half-second faster than the traditional Bronco 2.7-liter V-6.Inside the new Ford Bronco Filson. Each new model also comes equipped with Ford's Sasquatch package. The car has both front and rear electronic locking differentials, high performance Fox shocks that improve durability off the road, and the largest rugged-terrain tires of any luxe 4×4 SUV at 35 inches. The Bronco Filson has seven different drive modes to its name, too, via Ford's Goes Over Any Type of Terrain (G.O.A.T), including Sport, Slipper, Naja, and Rock Crawl. You can also opt for colors in a Field Green Metallic that's exclusive to the new model, as well as Marsh Gray, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Shadow Black, or Oxford White. The interior is where Filson takes over, with the cabin outfitted with colors and materials inspired by the brand's outdoor prowess. That includes perforated, quilted leather, durable woven fabrics that take design cues from Filson's twill, and a leather-wrapped instrument panel. Another nice touch are the brass accents adorning the steering wheel and the G.O.A.T. Modes dial. The new Bronco is also home to the quietest cabin ever on the model, Ford says, with enhanced seals to reduce wind and road noise, among other details, that decrease sound by nearly 20 percent compared to the 2021 Bronco. Ford tapped Bang and Olufsen to equip the model with an upgraded audio system, too.AdvertisementAdvertisementAnd, since you'll be taking the Bronco on your many off-road adventures, the pair kitted out the interior with Filson-inspired removable saddlebags, meant to hold everything from fly boxes to first-aid kits to cameras. Plus, they can easily be carried to your campsite or wherever you decide to roam."Bronco buyers don't just want a vehicle—they want a partner for wherever they're headed," said Andrew Frick, president, Ford Blue and Ford Model e, said in a press statement. "Filson has spent more than a century making gear people trust and putting their products to the test in extreme conditions. That's exactly the standard we had in mind when we built this vehicle, and it's why our customers love Bronco."And to add even more pizzazz to the model's debut, Ford and Filson are offering up a model that's exclusive to North America. That off-roader comes with an Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint color, as well as a unique fender badge, a custom serialized console badge, and Filson-inspired cargo storage bags, too.Ford has not announced a specific price tag for the new model, but the brand expects it to be somewhere in the mid $70,000s. Orders will open up this fall, with an arrival in showrooms set for early 2027. And if you're looking to match your new ride, Ford and Filson just dropped a limited-edition collection in the outfitter's stores and online.AdvertisementAdvertisementClick here to see more of the Ford Bronco Filson.FordBest of Robb ReportThe 2024 Chevy C8 Corvette: Everything We Know About the Powerful Mid-Engine BeastThe World's Best Superyacht ShipyardsThe ABCs of Chartering a YachtSign up for RobbReports's Newsletter.
