The 2026 Honda City facelift has been unveiled for the Thailand market shortly after the Indian market debut. The Thai release introduces the hatchback version of the facelift alongside the sedan, which is something we did not see revealed during the Indian market launch since it is not sold there. The Thai market launch is in the pre-launch phase for now with pre-orders open up to June 30 2026, with the official launch and pricing announcement set for July 1 2026. The Thai marlet’s sedan and hatchback are each offered in four grades: 1.0 Turbo S CVT, e:HEV V, e:HEV SV, and e:HEV RS, wiith the turbo confined to the S while the rest being hybrids. While India gets a 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol (121 PS/145 Nm, CVT or 6MT) as its base engine, the 1.0L VTEC Turbo is a three-cylinder, DOHC 12-valve, 988cc unit producing 122 PS at 5,500 rpm and 173 Nm between 2,000–4,500 rpm, paired with a CVT driving the front wheels, and runs on up to E20. The e:HEV hybrid uses a 1.5L four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve (1,498cc) Atkinson-type petrol engine making 98 PS at 5,600–6,400 rpm and 127 Nm at 4,500–5,000 rpm. The electric traction motor produces 109 PS (3,500–8,000 rpm) and 253 Nm (0–3,000 rpm), fed by a 1.0 kWh lithium-ion battery (4 modules, 48 cells), with an E-CVT and front-wheel drive.
