Gasgoo Munich- Wolong Electric Drive and Swancor Advanced Materials signed a strategic partnership agreement at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026). The collaboration focuses on core component production lines, targeting the customized manufacturing and precision assembly of robotic joints. Both parties aim to optimize mass production processes and enhance product stability.Image Source: Wolong Electric DriveWolong Electric Drive is actively expanding into the embodied intelligence sector, anchoring its strategy on motor drive technology, key robotic components, industrial applications, and ecosystem collaboration. The company has established development and production capabilities for critical parts, including frameless torque motors, reducers, servo drives, joint modules, and dexterous hands. Its focus is on powering quadruped robot dogs, bipedal humanoid robots, and industrial robots. At this year's WAIC, Wolong Electric Drive showcased a series of bionic robot core components, including frameless torque motors, universal joint modules, linear joints, and servo drives. The company also conducted on-site demonstrations of exoskeleton robots.Swancor Advanced Materials targets the consumer-grade embodied intelligence market with its Qiyuan brand, launching the Q1 and T1 models. The Q1 is positioned as the world's first personal robot, designed for research, creative work, and home scenarios. Its breakthrough lies in solving the industry challenge of miniaturizing high-performance humanoid joints. Through innovations in materials, structure, and control algorithms, Swancor Qiyuan reduced the volume of its QDD (Quasi-Direct Drive) joint to the size of an egg while retaining the force control and dynamic response of full-sized machines. This makes it the first small-sized humanoid robot to achieve whole-body force control. The Qiyuan T1 features a single-body design capable of autonomously recognizing and switching between quadruped and wheel-legged humanoid forms without manual intervention. The product aims to bridge the gap in mobility and interaction between complex outdoor terrain and indoor home environments.
