Gasgoo Munich- AI² Robotics has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Pharmaron (300759.SZ/3759.HK).Under the agreement, the partners will combine AI² Robotics'proprietary brain-inspired embodied large model technology with Pharmaron's deep expertise in life sciences. The collaboration focuses on deploying embodied intelligence in pharmaceutical R&D, aiming to build smart lab ecosystems and integrate robots into actual research and production workflows. The goal: unlock new productivity for the intelligent upgrade of the life sciences sector.Specifically, the initiative targets real-world scenarios including pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical labs, bioscience and analytical labs, and animal testing. By integrating specific operational workflows, the two companies plan to develop embodied intelligence automation workflows tailored for pharmaceutical R&D, scientific research, and CDMO production environments.Image Credit: AI² RoboticsPreviously, in 2025, AI² Robotics partnered with Bloomage Biotech to deploy its Aibao robots. These units now handle material transport, intelligent unpacking, and visual inspection in sterile workshops on a routine basis. The deployment cuts down on human exposure to high-risk, repetitive tasks, while the embodied large model allows the robots to adapt flexibly to different process flows. The partnership with Pharmaron extends robotic capabilities beyond biopharmaceutical manufacturing into earlier stages of the value chain—specifically, drug discovery and laboratory scenarios that demand higher precision. The companies also plan to establish demonstration laboratories for high-value applications. By introducing robots to collect data and verify feasibility, they aim to gradually advance multi-scenario development and foster cross-scenario human-robot collaboration.Furthermore, data generated from the project will drive technical verification and capability optimization, creating a continuous evolution loop of "real-world scenario — data — model — re-verification." Pharmaron's full-spectrum pharmaceutical R&D environment will feed diverse, real-world data back into AI² Robotics' "robot brain," accelerating the iteration of its brain-inspired large model.AI² Robotics has already achieved commercial deployment across sectors including automotive manufacturing, semiconductors, biotechnology, public services, and new retail, establishing a "data × business" dual loop. This latest partnership signals that the company is adding life sciences to its core strategic layout, expanding beyond industrial manufacturing and retail.
