The companies will also collaborate on time synchronization, equipment calibration, and data quality control to enhance the utility of tactile data.The duo also aims to tackle the complexities of tactile simulation. Modeling parameters like friction and deformation in physical simulations is notoriously difficult. Their plan involves using real-world tactile data to calibrate simulation environments, gradually aligning simulated feedback with reality through extensive real-simulation pairing experiments.
