Zenvo Aurora Tur's Final Production Form Is SleekZenvo AutomotiveZenvo Automotive, once famous for its "centripetal" tilting rear wing, first revealed plans to build an outrageous V-12 hypercar back in 2023. Three years of development followed, culminating in Wednesday's reveal: the production form of the Zenvo Aurora Tur, complete with an 1850-hp hybrid powertrain. The Danish hypercar manufacturer says that the Aurora Tur examples being revealed today are validation prototypes, the final step before Zenvo begins production of what it calls its "most significant car" ever. Two such prototypes are headed to Goodwood, England for this weekend's Festival of Speed, where they will be joined by a Zenvo Aurora Agil that the company calls a show car.The version seen here, the Tur, is meant to be seen as more of a grand tourer in comparison to the Agil—a separate Aurora meant to serve as a road-legal but track-focused hypercar—first revealed in concept form. Both share the platform, however, developed from the ground up by Zenvo for this purpose.Zenvo AutomotiveWhile Zenvo still has not confirmed final production performance numbers, the release again states that the purpose-built quad-turbo V-12 developed for the car by MAHLE is targeting 1250 horsepower. That combines with a three-motor hybrid system for a targeted peak system output of 1850 hp. Zenvo estimates a top speed of 260 miles per hour, a sprint from a standstill to 62 mph in 2.3 seconds, and a run to 249 mph in around 17 seconds. Production of the Tur model is set to be limited to just 50 examples, so order books should fill up quickly.Zenvo AutomotiveYou Might Also LikeIf You Can Only Own One Car, Make It One of TheseThese Are the Most Popular Cars by State
