The Final Toyota GR Supra Ever Built Is Heading to Barrett-Jackson for Paul Walker's CharityMotoriousElizabeth PuckettMon, September 14, 2026 at 8:00 PM UTCAdd us on GoogleThe Final Toyota GR Supra Ever Built Is Heading to Barrett-Jackson for Paul Walker's CharityToyota's fifth-generation Supra is going out with one last, unrepeatable send-off, and it's for a good cause. Barrett-Jackson has announced it will sell the final example of the GR Supra Final Edition at its Scottsdale sale this coming January, with every dollar raised benefiting Reach Out Worldwide, the disaster-relief charity founded by the late Paul Walker. The car was donated by Toyota's North American division and wears a commemorative serial number ending in 99999, marking its place as the true closing chapter of this Supra generation's production run. Toyota unveiled the Final Edition trim in late 2024 as a swan song for the A90-generation car, and this particular build pairs a one-off matte Phantom Gray finish with red accents over a dark leather-and-Alcantara cabin. It also carries the aero-focused GT4 styling package, including front wheel-arch flaps, aggressive front spats, and a duckbill rear spoiler. There's a signature to go along with the paint job. Former Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda personally signed the car using his racing alias, "Morizo," a nod that will resonate with JDM diehards given how closely he's been tied to reviving the Supra nameplate.AdvertisementAdvertisementMechanically, the Final Edition sticks with the familiar BMW-sourced turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, but Toyota turned up the output to 434 horsepower and 421 lb-ft of torque, gains of 94 hp and 52 lb-ft over the standard GR Supra, routed through a six-speed manual gearbox. Whoever wins the bidding also gets a complimentary one-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association, presumably so they can put that extra power to use on track. The charity tie-in makes sense given the Supra's screen history. The A80-generation car is one of the vehicles most closely associated with Walker's Brian O'Conner character from the original Fast & Furious film. Barrett-Jackson hasn't published a pre-sale estimate for the Final Edition, but the auction house believes it has a shot at becoming the most expensive Supra ever sold, a record currently held by the first production A90, which Barrett-Jackson itself sold for $2.1 million back in 2019.Collector appetite for the nameplate isn't limited to brand-new, one-off builds, either. Clean examples of the Mk4 Supra Turbo have been climbing steadily at auction, with a well-documented 1997 15th Anniversary Edition recently bidding past $52,000 on Cars & Bids. This won't be the only charity-driven headliner at Barrett-Jackson's docket this season. A pair of Ram trucks crossing the block together at the Las Vegas sale is set to benefit Folds of Honor and the UFC Foundation, and the Scottsdale week itself has a track record of pairing serious horsepower with serious causes.AdvertisementAdvertisementEnthusiasts heading to Scottsdale will have plenty else to look at beyond the Supra, too, including a no-reserve Shelby Super Snake convertible that's crossing the block at the same auction house's Las Vegas event.⚡️ Read the full article on MotoriousSign up for the Motorious Newsletter.
