Chevrolet is preparing to launch a second generation of the Equinox EV in either late 2028 or early 2029, according to a GM Authority report. The report states that the new Equinox EV will launch on GM's new BEV-N architecture, replacing the BEV3 platform the current model is built on. A spokesperson for Chevy declined Car and Driver's request for comment, saying, "We cannot comment on future product plans."
