Notably, all three gold medals were achieved through fully autonomous operation: the company’s team swept the tweezers-bean sorting and block-building events, while a Wuhan University-AGIBOT joint team—also powered by OmniHand—won the powder weighing category.The tweezers-bean event tested fine manipulation, requiring robots to grasp soybeans with a 5mm diameter. The task required a seamless workflow: identifying and pinpointing targets, then coordinating the robotic arm and dexterous hand for high-speed, continuous picking, transferring, and releasing. The Wuhan University-AGIBOT joint team, competing via AGIBOT’s AIMA program, used OmniHand.
