The 2026 ES runs a new interface on a 14-inch touchscreen display. Owners can build a custom home screen using widgets for daily use. A standard dashcam records, stores, and logs every drive. Lexus has stepped into a brave new era of interior design with the all-new ES, and it has now revealed the improved infotainment system it’ll use. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with the company’s current set-up, the new one promises, at least on paper, to be more modern and comparable to what many other car manufacturers are doing. Read: The First Electric Lexus ES Actually Costs Less Than The Hybrid The new interface runs on the sedan’s 14-inch touchscreen and has menus more akin to a tablet or smartphone. It includes a configurable home screen where owners can add their preferred widgets, while a Quick Control Menu has been added to the upper-right corner to house frequently used features. In addition, the system includes SiriusXM with 360L and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, Spotify has been added directly to the infotainment system. Onboard navigation has been reworked and can now be projected onto the digital gauge cluster. The Lexus Voice Assistant has been retuned as well, responding faster and handling more complex requests, including jumping straight to specific menu pages. Owners can also choose between male and female voices, a first for the brand. Charging Made Easy The all-electric ES 350e and ES 500e add a new EV Charge Management system that lets owners set charging schedules and limits. The navigation can also pull up charging point information and plan routes around the current state of charge. Digital Key has also been upgraded, with sharing for up to five additional drivers via a compatible digital wallet and NFC access that continues to work for a period even if the phone’s battery dies. In the US, all new 2026 Lexus ES models will integrate AT&T 5G connectivity. A standard built-in dashcam, or Drive Recorder, as Lexus calls it, stores up to 90 one-minute clips on a continuous loop while logging the car’s speed and location. Owners can play back clips on the infotainment screen and download them to a USB. Pricing for the 2026 Lexus ES opens at $48,895 for the electric 350e, climbs to $51,095 for the upcoming ES 350h hybrid, and tops out at $51,895 for the electric ES 500e.
