Lexus manages to provide all of the above with its diverse lineup. We want to focus on one model in-between, though: the Lexus TX. This is a three-row family SUV that's available in a range of trims with varying levels of luxury. To get even more specific, we want to highlight the Lexus TX350, since there are so many versions of this trim level. There might not be a Lexus TX350 hybrid (buyers can upgrade to the TX500h for a hybrid powertrain), but prospective consumers can find pretty much everything else they need in one or other of the many trims. Here's everything you need to know about the various TX trim levels available for the 2026 model year. All specifications have been sourced directly from the automaker. Pricing is correct at the time of writing, and excludes destination, options, taxes, and other potential fees set by dealers. Automakers reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. 2026 Lexus TX Overview Lexus TX Powertrains, Transmission, And Drivetrains LexusAs seen in the chart above, the Lexus TX technically has three available powertrains. However, the TX350 that this article is all about only has access to the 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four. This is the weakest option, and it gets the worst fuel economy, but it's not necessarily bad. Upgrading to the TX500h F Sport Performance Premium or Performance Luxury is the only way to add regular hybrid tech, and the single 550h+ Luxury trim level has plug-in hybrid tech for the most horsepower and the best fuel economy. That said, the seven versions of the TX350 are adequately powered for a vehicle of its class - even if it feels a bit slow. The Lexus TX350 In Detail: Every 2026 Lexus TX350 Trim Seven For The Dwarf-Lords In Their Halls Of Stone LexusNow let's dive into the cheaper trim levels' features and specs. Like the seven Rings of Power given to the Dwarves of Middle Earth during the Second Age by Sauron, there are seven versions of the TX350. Lord of the Rings references aside, the Lexus TX350 interior only gets more enticing as you move up the trims. When we say there are seven versions in total, that includes the FWD and AWD variants of each level, since that's how Lexus organizes them on its configurator. Buyers can choose either the standard front-wheel-drive model, or the Lexus TX350 AWD. The Premium and Luxury models are also available in either front- or all-wheel drive, and the F-Sport Handling only comes with an AWD configuration. Lexus TX350 It all starts here, with the most basic version of them all. The Lexus TX350, like we mentioned above, is available with either front- or all-wheel drive, but the AWD variant costs a bit more; we'll get into pricing in the next section. Even though this version is the base model, it's not totally devoid of features. Our road tester says to expect an interior along the lines of an elevated Toyota Grand Highlander, the vehicle it shares a platform with. While it's not as luxurious as some more expensive Lexus models, it makes sense to keep costs relatively low.Standard Features: NuLuxe upholstery (faux leather) Heated front seats Power trunk with a kick sensor Lexus TX350 Premium Increasing your budget slightly to reach the Premium trim level means getting some additional features without going overboard. Don't get us wrong, it's nicer than the base model, but the Premium FWD and AWD versions are still upholstered in faux leather and feel like a slightly nicer Toyota. This trim can seat seven occupants across its three rows of seats, or fit a maximum of 97 cubic feet of cargo behind the front row. Below are some extra features in this trim that aren't standard in the base model.Standard Features: Panoramic glass roof Heated and ventilated front seats Power-folding third-row seats Lexus TX350 Luxury The Lexus TX starts to get more interesting at its Luxury trim level. In this version, buyers will be greeted by an elevated interior with real leather-trimmed seats. Once inside, the driver and front passenger retain the previous trim's heated and ventilated seats, but the second-row outboard passengers will be even more comfortable with their own heated seats. Plus, the whole cabin feels more upscale with the addition of thematic ambient illumination.Standard Features: Semi-aniline leather upholstery Heated second-row outboard seats Thematic ambient lighting Lexus TX350 F Sport Handling Finally, the last TX trim before moving into hybrid and PHEV territory is the 350 F-Sport Handling. At this level, buyers should be aware that the SUV has a reduced seating capacity of six occupants. However, cargo capacity doens't change. The F-Sport Handling trim sounds like quite an upgrade, which it is, but it still gets the same 2.4-liter turbo inline-four engine as the rest of the 350 lineup. It has the same power and torque outputs, too. As the name would suggest, it handles differently with unique suspension and bigger wheels. Plus, it has standard AWD.Standard Features: F-Sport styling 22-inch F-Sport wheels F-Sport-tuned adaptive variable suspension Lexus TX350 Price Comparison How All Seven TX350 Trims Compare To One Another LexusWe can keep this section brief, since the table above explains it pretty well. The Lexus TX isn't cheap. As a three-row family-oriented luxury SUV, it's bound to be more expensive than the Grand Highlander it's based on. That means buyers will have to pay at least $56,440 before destination charges and other fees for the base model, and it only goes up from there. Adding all-wheel drive to any trim (base, Premium, and Luxury) costs $1,600, except for the F-Sport Handling, which comes with AWD as standard."Expect a Grand Highlander with nicer appointments, and you should be pleasantly surprised. The Black and Peppercorn (brown) interiors look a bit drab, but the available Birch interior, as pictured here, lightens the cabin significantly... The layout is ergonomic and comfortable. We particularly like the configurable cupholders, which can be removed to create more storage space and can accommodate large water bottles with ease." How Lexus TX Rivals Compare 2026 Genesis GV80 GenesisThe Genesis GV80 is a direct rival to the Lexus TX, but it differs in a few ways. To start, it's available in both traditional SUV and coupe SUV forms. For our purposes, we'll focus on the traditional SUV; this model is available in eight trims, with five getting a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, and three getting a larger V6 engine as seen above. While the base model is more accessible and comparable to the TX in terms of price, every GV80 feels far more luxurious inside. Moving up to its top trim level, the 3.5T Prestige Black AWD will set you back at least $83,250. However, those who can afford it will enjoy quilted Nappa leather upholstery, open-pore ash wood trim, heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, and much more. Acura MDX AcuraAnother TX competitor is the Acura MDX. This model is built on the same platform as the Honda Pilot, so buyers can expect a practical and reliable family-hauler. While the Genesis we mentioned has a nicer interior than the TX, the MDX is on the same level in most trims. However, when you reach its top trim level, the Type-S Advance, this SUV becomes an elevated experience with well-bolstered seats and a comfortably-powerful engine. Regardless of which trim you end up in, the MDX can seat up to seven people, or fit a maximum of 95 cubic feet of cargo. Summary: There's A TX For Everybody You're Bound To Find The Right TX350 Among This Lineup LexusThe Lexus TX is a diverse model that can meet the needs of any large family. Whether you simply want an elevated driving experience with Toyota's legendary reliability, or a real luxury car with leather upholstery, heated and cooled seats, and more, the TX is there to deliver. It's not quite as nice inside as its more-expensive rival, the Genesis GV80, but the TX makes up for it with lower prices for each trim.Sources: Lexus, Genesis, Acura
