A new car is coming up to celebrate the Miura's birthday. Lamborghini pays tribute to Miura which was unveiled in 1966 and instantly shot to stardom thanks to its high performance and stylish looks. It was one of the most powerful cars of the time, too, and could reach a top speed of up to 181mph.Now, the Miura is turning 60 and in celebration, Lamborghini has launched a special model – the Revuelto Miura 60 Homage.AdvertisementAdvertisementJust 99 examples of the car will be produced and all come through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program, which works to make bespoke and outlandish versions of the brand's vehicles.It takes many styling cues from the Miura, with two distinct liveries drawn from the classic. Both feature lower body sections finished in a contrasting colour to the main bodywork, with the first pairing Oro Elios gold with Altanero Shiny Gold wheels, and the second bringing together a Grigio Nimbus silver with Altanero Matt Titanium wheels. Both reflect standout colour combinations that were used on the original Miura.All cars get a dedicated Miura 60 logo positioned near the rear wheel arch, while the Lamborghini logo is finished in gloss black. This is matched with gloss black brake calipers and matte black exhaust pipes.Inside, the seats are finished in a pattern which reinterprets the "canneloni" design of the Miura, while areas such as the centre tunnel, door panels and rear bulkhead are all finished in leather. A "Miura 60" embroidery is positioned between the two front seats, too. Each car gets a carbon fibre plaque on the driver's side of the cabin, displaying both the Miura 60 name and its position as one of 99 cars produced.As with the standard Revuelto, the Miura 60 uses a naturally aspirated V12 engine linked to a hybrid system for a total output of 1,000bhp and a 0-60mph time of 2.5 seconds.A gold Lamborghini Miura P400 (v) and a Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV in an exhibition of sportscars in the 1950s to the 1970s.
