Jeep is reportedly planning to add the Hurricane inline-six to the Grand Cherokee lineup for the 2028 model year, according to Moparinsiders.com.The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter engine would be the standard-output version, likely producing 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque.A V-8 isn’t likely to return in a regular Grand Cherokee, although it could show up in an SRT-badged variant in the next few years.
