"The OnStar Fleet Intelligence platform meets this need head-on, streamlining complex data into one accessible dashboard so business owners can focus less on administrative hurdles and more on efficiently scaling their operations." Dive Insight:With the launch of OnStar Fleet Intelligence, GM's aim was to provide fleet operators with more intuitive tools and a less complicated process by providing a single access point to manage fleet vehicles, including geofencing. Fleet owners and managers can track orders, manage vehicles and access diagnostic data and telematics from each vehicle remotely, including fuel efficiency and range. Users can also renew OnStar software and service plans and add new vehicles to a fleet via OnStar Fleet Intelligence. For larger fleets, fleet account numbers can be linked to OnStar Fleet Intelligence, enabling management of all vehicles listed under that number with a single login, regardless of the make or model.GM also added an Fleet AI Assistant to the new platform. It helps transform data into insights to help fleet operators optimize performance and reduce vehicle downtime. One example is using AI to analyze fuel costs across vehicles, routes and drivers, helping fleet managers determine what changes will have the greatest impact on reducing fuel expenses, per the release. The Fleet AI Assistant also reduces manual analysis and reporting, delivering answers using natural language using generative AI. For example, a fleet manager can ask the assistant to show the total idling time for each vehicle for the current month or show the most utilized vehicles. These new AI-powered insights provide opportunities to increase efficiency, per GM."More than 30 years ago OnStar revolutionized the connected vehicle; combining human support with tech to deliver real-world impact," said Arnie Magnotta, VP, OnStar Services & Digital Commerce, in a statement. "This new platform builds on that legacy of innovation to transform fleet management, turn data into insights, and help our customers grow and scale their businesses."GM said OnStar Fleet Intelligence will continue to evolve, adding new features over time to help fleet managers grow and scale their business.GM rolling out Google's Gemini to 4M vehicles in the US',
