GAC Motor launched its second global AION EV model in Europe, the AION UT, at an event in Milan, Italy, following the European debut of the AION V last year. The compact electric hatchback complements GAC’s European lineup, offered in Premium and Luxury trims, starting at €27,990 ($33,000). AION UT Under WLTP testing, AION UT delivers a 430 km range, supports DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in 24 minutes, and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, targeting urban mobility across European cities. Differing from simple exports, the AION UT continues GAC’s localization strategy. The vehicle rolled off the production line in March at Magna’s Graz, Austria plant, following the same model used for AION V.
