BHPetrol has launched its redesigned Bandar Tun Razak petrol station today, bearing its latest corporate identity introduced in 2021. The revamp sees the outlet gaining a cleaner, more angular design and a greater use of white – the latter replacing the previous yellow accents.
The Bandar Tun Razak facility opened in 1996 as a BP station, before being rebranded as BHPetrol in 2006 once Boustead Holdings acquired the British firm’s Malaysian downstream business. It now houses a Kenangan Coffee outlet as well as the usual BHPetromart, a surau and “large and clean” restrooms.

The launch was attended by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) officials, including DBKL socioeconomic development executive director Ismadi bin Sakirin and Cheras police chief ACP Aidil bin Bolhassan. At the event, BHPetrol announced it will continue to lease the station’s land from DBKL for another 30 years, guaranteeing the outlet’s future up to 2055.
“I very much hope that the strategic partnership with DBKL and PDRM will continue with strong commitment among GLCs [government-linked companies], local authorities and other stakeholders in the future, in order to provide a positive impact not just to businesses, but also to customers as a whole,” said BHPetrol CEO Azizul Azily Ahmad. “BHPetrol is also aware that the role of a petrol station is not only to distribute fuel to local communities but also to provide day-to-day amenities to consumers.”
