Audi Wants To Sweeten Your EV Lease Buyout Deal With Up to $10,000 OffInsideEVs[email protected] (Nico DeMattia)Tue, September 8, 2026 at 10:10 PM UTCAdd us on GoogleAudi e-tron GT quattro (2025)Audi must really want its EV lessees to hold onto their cars after their leases are up.If you're currently the lessee of an Audi E-tron model and you're wondering what you're going to get when its lease expires, you might want to reconsider just keeping your current car. According to CarsDirect, Audi sent out a bulletin to all dealers nationwide, informing them of a new incentive for EV lessees who decide to buy their car out after their leases, starting September 1. And, depending on how expensive your E-tron model is, Audi will take as much as $10,000 off your buyout price. That top-dollar $10,000 buyout discount is only available on the Audi E-tron GT. Lesser models like the discontinued Q8 E-tron and Q4 E-tron get lesser discounts, to the tune of $5,000 and $4,000, respectively. Audi has actually been offering EV buyout incentives since July, 2026, but it increased the Q4 E-tron's discount, as it was $3,000 before. There's no discount for the A6 E-tron, though, as that car hasn't even been out long enough for leases to mature. 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron (European Model)Unless customers don't like their E-trons, I can see this being a popular discount. Audi E-tron secondhand values have been plummeting, with cars losing at least half of their value to depreciation in just a year or two. You can find three-year-old E-tron GTs for less than $50,000 with low miles, so depending on what their original buyout price was, this discount could push many customers in that direction. It's always fun getting a new car every three years, and one of the main reasons why so many customers lease. However, these discounts could make your current Audi cheap enough to hold onto.
