Along with revised looks (XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims get new grille and wheel designs) and the addition of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving with towing, the twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 has been replaced by a similar engine with 3.0 liters of capacity. This produces its peak of 400 lb-ft of torque 1,250 rpm lower in the rev range (at 2,250 tpm), with the 325-horsepower figure remaining unchanged. That should mean a more responsive truck that's even happier to tow.More V8 Engines for 2027 Ford F-150FordThe 5.0-liter Coyote V8, which was dropped from higher F-150 trims, is now available as an option on King Ranch and Platinum trims for the first time since 2023, giving every F-150 trim, from XL to Platinum, access to the 400-hp, 410-lb-ft naturally aspirated eight-cylinder. Concurrently, the EcoBoost 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 is still available, offering 500 lb-ft of torque and up to 13,500 lbs of towing capacity. The PowerBoost hybrid, which adds an electric motor, offers 570 lb-ft of torque. Moving on, BlueCruise is now available from XLT trims and higher, and for 2027, BlueCruise with Towing enables hands-free, eyes-on driving with a trailer on 130,000 miles of designated roadways. Those who already have a BlueCruise subscription won't have to pay anything extra to access the hands-free towing function.Cheaper Tremor and Raptor Options for 2027 F-150FordView the 3 images of this gallery on the original articleAdvertisementAdvertisementFord CEO Jim Farley wants the brand to be reknowned for its off-road vehicles, and while part of that may include a 1,000-hp off-road supercar or an off-road-biased Mustang, the Blue Oval is also expanding the availability of rugged models at a more palatable price level. Not pictured, new F-150 Tremor and Raptor options are available with fewer creature comforts to keep the MSRP from ballooning too high. For the entry-level Tremor, Ford has started with an STX trim, with an STX steering wheel and manual, not dual-zone, climate control. The heated front seats have been stripped, and the eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system has been swapped for a six-speaker setup. The off-road running boards have also been deleted, and the power sliding rear window has been replaced by a fixed pane of glass. The 2027 F-150 Tremor will start at $62,440 (plus $2,795 for destination), $5,270 cheaper than before.FordView the 2 images of this gallery on the original articleFor the entry-level Raptor, Ford has deleted the head-up display, the fog lamps, the Pro Power Onboard system, the Mobile Office package, and power adjustability for the passenger seat. Under-seat storage has also been removed, and the power-adjustable steering column has been swapped for a manual column. Finally, the 14-speaker B&O audio system is reduced to an eight-speaker system. All of this saves $4,010, with the 2027 F-150 Raptor starting at $77,790, excluding destination. And if you prefer style over ruggedness, Ford's 2027 F-150 lineup has a new option for you, too.New Ford F-150 Carhartt Gets Special TreatmentFordView the 4 images of this gallery on the original articleAdvertisementAdvertisementMuch like the 2027 Super Duty, Ford has collaborated with Carhartt for a new F-150 variant. Available on 4×4 XLT Crew Cb models, the Carhartt F-150 gets unique 20-inch wheels, special fender vents, and Carhartt badging. Graphics also appear on the rocker panel and tailgate, and the headlamps, cowl hood, grille, dual exhaust, off-road running boards, and a Carhartt-branded spray-in bedliner complete the exterior treatment. In the cabin, two-tone Carhartt-style seat covers, new door card trim, updated center console trim, and a special steering wheel uplift the F-150. Carhartt-branded floor mats put the finishing touches on the new model, which is available as a $4,195 package. That means the F-150 Carhartt starts at $62,660 before destination.2027 Ford F-150 Pricing and ArrivalFordView the 3 images of this gallery on the original articleThe 2027 Ford F-150 Carhartt can be ordered from today, and deliveries will begin early in the new year.
