A brand-new engine, more power, and Z06-like handling all make Chevrolet's newest Corvettes, the Grand Sport and Grand Sport X, look like the ones to have. Now Chevy has announced pricing to really drive it home as a deal.The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will start from less than $89,000 including delivery, while the Grand Sport X will start from just $1,100 more than the E-Ray it replaces in the lineup. If you want a ZR1 or a ZR1X, though, you're going to be shelling out an extra five figures. Big Changes To New V8s, Small Changes To New Prices Chevrolet The Grand Sport and the base Stingray both get Chevy's new 6.7-liter V8. It's the first sixth-gen small block, and it puts out 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque. That's 40 hp and 55 lb-ft more than last year's car. The price for a Stingray starts from $73,495 including freight and destination, an increase of $1,000.For a Grand Sport, expect to shell out starting from $88,495. The Grand Sport X, which adds an electric motor to the front axle for 721 hp and all-wheel drive for quicker acceleration, starts from $112,195. If you want a convertible, the two Grand Sport models both offer one, for $95,495 and $119,195 respectively.Base Grand Sport buyers can add upgrades starting with the Track Performance Package. That adds Z06-look carbon fiber aero parts, new chassis tuning, carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin track tires, and a quad-exit center exhaust. Pricing, for the base hardtop, starts from $109,190.Add the $3,500 Grand Sport Performance Package and you get tamer Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and Z06 brakes. The Grand Sport X adds just the tires, but Chevy is only asking another $500. ZR1, ZR1X Get Big Price Hikes, No New Engine Chevrolet If you want the king of the Corvette hill, though, things get more expensive. A 2027 Corvette ZR1 with its 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 1,064 horsepower and will cost at least $197,195. That's an $8,705 difference. A ZR1X with 1,250-horsepower thanks to a front-mount electric motor will start from $227,395. That's $15,200 more than 2026. Ouch. 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Pricing *Prices include $2,495 destinationStill, the C8 Corvette remains a bargain against anything as quick or quicker. The starting point for a Porsche 911 is the $135,500 Carrera Coupe, which makes just 388 hp. The top of that line for power is the Turbo S, which makes 701 hp – 549 less than a ZR1X – but starts from $270,000. And good luck finding one with no options. If you want to brag about having a faster Nürburgring lap than the ZR1X, you'll need to spend even more.Strangely and amazingly, the Z06 with its high-spinning V8 has actually gotten cheaper. The 2026 model started from $122,795 including destination and fees. The 2027 model comes with a starting price of $121,395. Not bad, Chevrolet.Order books for most of the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette lineup will open on April 16. If you want a Grand Sport X, you'll need to wait a while, with those orders set to open in the summer. If you're interested in the old 6.2-liter V8, we're willing to bet that they're going to start to see some big discounts once the 6.7s hit dealer showrooms.
