Source: BMWBMW Group and Momenta have announced a collaboration to develop a next-generation intelligent driving assistance system tailored for the Chinese market.The system will debut on the domestically produced new-generation BMW iX3, with mass production planned for at the Brilliance BMW Shenyang manufacturing plant. It features an integrated "Perception-Planning-Control" architecture that uses ultra-large neural networks for environmental sensing, path planning, and precise vehicle control. Momenta’s AI algorithms and data-driven technology are combined with BMW’s expertise in safety, human-machine interaction, and driving strategy to enable the vehicle to interpret complex traffic scenarios and make decisions closely resembling those of a human driver.
