Just 80 examples of this special-edition Lincoln Continental were built. This car is #48 and had an MSRP of $114,685 when sold in the US. The wheelbase of this luxurious Lincoln was stretched to boost the luxury. Except for the new Genesis GV90 Neolun, coach doors are a luxury feature Rolls-Royce models are best known for. However, just before Covid-19, Lincoln launched its own model with coach doors, and one of these rare cars is now looking for a new home. The model, officially badged the Continental 80th Anniversary Coach Door Edition, was brought to life by Cabot Coach Builders in Massachusetts, stretching the Continental to make it perfect for chauffeurs. Only 80 examples were produced, each based on the Continental Black Label. To ensure the Lincoln doesn’t flop around like a limousine, the structure was strengthened to support the extra length. Perhaps the most notable thing about the special Lincoln is that the elongated wheelbase doesn’t mess with the proportions. In fact, we’d argue it looks better than the regular Continental. The second row has heated and ventilated seats with reclining functions and even inflatable seat belts. Sun shades and an LCD screen also let those in the back adjust the audio and climate control systems. As is the case up front, the rear is trimmed in Jet Black Venetian leather with Chilean maple wood trim. But, as far as luxurious American sedans go, the Continental Coach Door Edition is among the most intriguing. Carrying an MSRP of $114,685, it was also among the most expensive when it was launched. This car is currently up for grabs from Bring a Trailer with 2,400 miles (3,862 km) on the odometer and is number 48 of the 80 built. It appears to be in good condition, although the listing notes an open recall for a foggy rear-view camera, which does not appear to have been replaced. Bring a Trailer
