Aura T6, a new pure electric mid-sized SUV. The vehicle is built upon the CEA electronic architecture and will feature the Carizon (Cariad-Horizon) intelligent driving assistance solution, equipped with LiDAR. Exterior design and dimensionsThe ID. Aura T6 features a through-type light group and an illuminated logo. The hood is characterised by sharp lines, and the vehicle includes a 90L front trunk. In terms of dimensions, the SUV measures 4811mm in length, 1879mm in width, and 1648mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2836mm. Its drag coefficient is 0.245. Customers can choose between 19-inch and 20-inch wheels, and the exterior is available in six colours: First Snow White, Lark Grey, Distant Mountain Green, Sunset Purple, Galaxy Blue, and Pearl White. InteriorInside, the cabin is offered in three colour schemes: Cloud Shadow Grey, Velvet Light Beige, and Honey Light Orange. The digital cockpit consists of a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, and a 25.8-inch AR-HUD. This system is powered by a 4nm smart cabin chip with a computing power of approximately 20 TOPS, supplemented by a dedicated AI Agent computing module. The vehicle supports full-car OTA updates, Sentry Mode, remote vehicle control, and intelligent entry. It comes pre-installed with over 23 applications and supports wireless connectivity via CarPlay, HiCar, and Carlink. There is also a dual-spoke two-tone multifunctional steering wheel, wireless phone charging for the front row, an 18-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, magnetic interfaces, and door-panel umbrella slots. The “Queen’s Co-pilot” seat offers 12-way electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and ten-point massage. Furthermore, the front seatbacks can recline to 170°, forming a flat surface with the rear seat cushions. Other highlights include rear tray tables and a panoramic sunroof with physical sunblinds. Aura T6 is powered by a single motor with a maximum power output of 170 kW (228 hp) and is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. For autonomous driving, the vehicle is equipped with LiDAR and the Horizon Robotics Journey 6H chip, providing a computing power of 420 TOPS. Through the Carizon intelligent driving solution – a joint venture between Volkswagen and Horizon Robotics – the ID.
