Lamborghini Revuelto NA63 First Look: Go, AmericaLamborghini - MotorTrendWhen your vehicle lineup is as small as Lamborghini’s, it’s hard to drum up excitement on a regular basis. Until, that is, you decide to fire the special edition cannon, and the Italian supercar maker has lit the wick on another ballistic projectile in the form of the Lamborghini Revuelto NA63.Unlike Lambo’s vehicle names, which are usually drawn from famous bulls but otherwise not particularly straightforward, this special edition’s moniker is pretty easy to decode. NA is for North America and 63 is how many of them will be made. The car is being launched to honor Lamborghini’s founding year of 1963, although we’re curious why the car isn’t called the NA67—that’s the first year Lamborghini officially arrived on our side of the Atlantic, when the now-legendary Lamborghini Miura was first shown at the New York auto show.AdvertisementAdvertisementEven if there are four fewer examples than we think there should be, at least a few of them will be easy to distinguish due to their distinctive America-inspired colorways. The car will be available in Blu Marinus with Rosso Mut red and matte Bianco Monocerus stripes to honor the U.S.—so, red, white, and blue—as well as Bianco Sideralis with Rosso Mars and Blue Royal striping.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdditional colorways include gray with blue and white stripes and a different gray with black and yellow. Lamborghini says the red and white stripes on the blue version are a nod to the Canadian flag, but that feels fairly forced given that the car is, you know, blue. We figure any Canadians interested in the car can have one in red and white if they’re willing to pony up some additional money. The side skirts, front splitter, and rear diffuser also feature colors drawn from the striping. Buyers can also expect a side badge and a serial number plate featuring a pretty sweet-looking horned “63.”The underlying car isn’t changed at all, not that it needs to be. Each NA63 will pack Lamborghini’s 6.5-liter hybridized V-12, which combines the engine and two electric motors to make 1,001 horsepower and 739 lb-ft of torque.
