most researched vehicles april 2026There's been a great disturbance in this list, and we're pretty sure we know why. Fuel prices strike back!Gas prices are high enough that Americans are rethinking their automotive choices. That's the main takeaway from the list of the most researched vehicles from last month. While we're sure that Americans still love pickup trucks as much as they always have, we had to count down six (!) total spots for the first truck to make the list last month, and all the way down to 10th for the second truck.Top 10 Vehicles Researched In April 2026:1. Toyota RAV42. Honda CR-V3. Toyota Camry4. Hyundai Palisade5. Subaru Forester6. Ford F-1507. Hyundai Tucson8. Lexus RX 3509. Honda CR-V Hybrid10. Chevrolet Silverado 1500Counting down the rest of the pickup trucks in the top 25, the GMC Sierra 1500 sits in 11th, the Toyota Tacoma landed in 14th, and the Ram 1500 fell into 16th place. We'll have to wait for some actual sales numbers to float in from their respective manufacturers, but we wouldn't be surprised to see truck sales take a hit this year, though the impact will likely have a lot to do with how long oil prices stay elevated.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Toyota RAV4 landed in first place, as it has for the last several months, followed by the Honda CR-V (the CR-V Hybrid also made the list in ninth place) and the Toyota Camry. Perhaps not coincidentally, the Camry is sold solely in hybrid form these days, and it gets excellent fuel mileage. The Hyundai Palisade dropped from second to fourth on the list, which we created using data provided exclusively to AutoGuide via AutoFinder.com-an automotive marketplace featuring over 3 million new and used vehicle listings, connecting consumers with top dealerships nationwide to easily find and secure the best deal on a car, truck, or SUV.The Subaru Forester rose one spot to fifth. The Mazda CX-5 was in the top 10 last month, but was replaced by the CR-V Hybrid in April.Become an AutoGuide insider.
