Mitsubishi shared new details on the 2027 Pajero’s ladder frame. The flagship SUV features S-AWC and a tuned suspension system. The Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol rival will debut this autumn. Mitsubishi has released a fresh teaser for the much-anticip ated Pajero ahead of its world premiere on September 2, and this round trains the spotlight on what sits underneath. The focus falls on the ladder-frame chassis and the suspension setup of the upcoming Land Cruiser rival. The company says the chassis was engineered to “deliver high road-holding performance” while “suppressing unwanted body movement and vibrations over rough or uneven roads.” The aim was comfort on long hauls, which fits the cross-country brief of the SUV. This vehicle dynamics system already appears in high-spec Triton trims, giving drivers a choice between RWD, full-time 4WD, a locked center differential, and low range with a locked diff. In the midsize pickup, it runs seven selectable Terrain Drive Modes (Normal, Eco, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock) meant to keep handling and traction predictable across a variety of weather and road conditions. The Teaser Campaign This latest look continues a steady drip of teasers on a dedicated website counting down to the autumn reveal. Mitsubishi has already shown glimpses of the exterior and interior, giving us the boxy silhouette, T-shaped LEDs, and a digital take on the dashboard-mounted multi-information gauge pod that marked earlier Pajero generations.
